Garden Bed at Mark West Charter School

About the project

I helped lead a team of 20+ scouts, adult leaders, and friends in constructing a 28ft x 3ft garden bed. We stained the box as well as filling it with soil, so that it was ready for the school to use. The box was built partially out of a need for environmental learning for the students, but also as a safety need as on one side of the box is a sidewalk that originally just dropped off into this dirt patch from about a foot.
