About the project
A game drive was hosted to collect games for the Northwest Louisiana veterans home. A donation box was built and placed at a local game store for future donation drives. The collected games were donated to the Northwest Louisiana veterans home, the local library, and Geaux 4 kids(a non profit providing comfort bags to foster kids when placed in new homes). Volunteers were then invited to play games with the veterans..
Community impact
The box is still operational and has helped the store to run several drives. The veterans loved getting to interact with the younger kids while playing games.
